Guilherme Ferraz de Arruda

I am a researcher at the ISI Foundation in Turin, Italy. I have got my Ph.D. in Computer Science and Applied Mathematics at ICMC - Universidade de São Paulo, Brazil, in 2017. During that period, I directed my research on stochastic processes on top of complex networks and structured populations. More specifically, my main focus was on epidemic and rumor spreading in single and multilayer networks, including the structural characterization of multilayer networks, essentially through spectral theory. More recently, I have been focusing my research on the study of higher-order structure, where my main interest is hypergraphs, both from the structural and dynamical viewpoints.
