Dr Lucila Alvarez-Zuzek

I am an interdisciplinary physicist interested in studying social human behaviour by combining the tools from statistical physics and network science through experimentation, mathematical modelling, and data analysis. My research focuses on understanding decision-making processes, the propagation of mis- and disinformation, and the spread of infectious diseases as emergent phenomena in complex social systems.
