Prof. Dr. José Fernando Mendes
Professor at Physics Department, University of Aveiro, Portugal
He hold a degree in Physics from the University of Porto, 1987 and a Ph.D in Physics from the University of Porto, 1995. Since April 2002 he is Professor at University of Aveiro. He is a theoretical physicist working on Statistical Physics. His research, in the last years, focus mainly in the study of complex systems and the structure and the evolution of complex networks. Other interests are related with: granular media, self-organized criticality, non-equilibrium phase transitions, deposition models,etc.
