I got my BA in Economics at Bocconi University in Milan (Italy) and the Ph.D. in Development Economics at University of Florence.
My research activity has consistently focused on the role of time and space in economics. It spans diverse subject areas, with a primary focus on evolutionary models that incorporate heterogeneous agents. Much of my work has centered on international macroeconomics and industrial economics, with a recent emphasis on examining the factors influencing countries’ actions to address climate change.
In recent years, I have focused on how network structures shape economic outcomes, integrating multi-country networks into theoretical and empirical models.
