Graduated from Faculty of Physics and Nuclear Techniques, AGH University of Kraków in 1996. PhD in computational and theoretical physics at Faculty of Physics and Nuclear Techniques, AGH University of Kraków in 2000. DSc in complex systems, computational and theoretical physics at Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, AGH University of Kraków in 2016. His scientific interests cover studies of the complex systems (dynamics of public opinion, population aging and evolution and modelling of magnetic interactions) by means of computer simulations (including cellular automata technique). He wrote over 100 journal papers. Currently associate professor and head of department at the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science, AGH University of Kraków, senior editor of “Open Physics” and editor of “PLOS One”.
