Pier Luigi Gentili is currently an Associate Professor of Physical Chemistry at the University of Perugia (Italy). His research and teaching activities are focused on the interdisciplinary subject of Complex Systems. One question driving his research is: “Which biological intelligence competencies can be mimicked through inanimate chemical systems”? By searching for an answer, he is developing the innovative research line of Chemical AI. Gentili visited other universities for his research and teaching activities, including Harvard, Brandeis, and Bowling Green State University in the USA, as well as the universities of London (UCL), Toulouse (Paul-Sabatier), Brussels (Vrije), Bielefeld, and Malta. He attended several national and international congresses to present his work on Chemical AI.
