A fully funded postdoctoral position will soon be opened at Institut Lumière Matière (CNRS / Univ. Lyon 1) on the topic of
Physical modelling of micromobility and adaptation of urban infrastructure to heat waves
with an expected starting date anytime before the end of 2025. Broadly speaking, it is about characterising and modelling the effect of cooling solutions on pedestrian and active flows in urban settings, so as to mitigate the impact of heat waves; the proposed approach combines statistical physics, agent-based modelling, and urban planning.
