CCS2020 call for satellites

Satellite sessions will be held on October 21 and 22, 2020. A satellite session is usually a half-day session or full-day session. Longer satellites (one and a half or two days) will not be considered. Each satellite is organized and managed by its own committee, although the coffee-breaks and lunch will be offered by the CCS organization. The satellite organizers are responsible for reviewing proposed papers and working with their presenters.

Satellite proposals must include the following information:

• Title of Satellite Session

• Duration: 0.5/1.0 day

• Name(s) of Organizer(s)

• Motivation & Purpose

• Potential Invited Speakers

• Expected Number of Contributing Speakers & Participants

The deadline for satellite proposals is March 25, 2020. Deadline extended until April 1st, 2020.

Due to the current situation and to help satellite organizers, we decided to extend the deadline for Satellite Proposals to April 1st (included).

Please submit the proposals in a pdf document by email to ccs2020@ifisc.uib-csic.es

Organizers of successful proposals will be notified by April 25, 2020, to allow ample time to set up their satellite websites and call for papers. Satellite organizers can have their own schedules, although participants must register in the main conference. Satellite organizers should provide a list of speakers by September 18, 2020.

No main conference fee waiver will be offered for satellite organization.
