PhD Position in Evolutionary Game Theory

Institution: The project is allocated to the Statistical Physics group of Prof. Hildegard Meyer-Ortmanns in the Department of Physics and Earth Sciences at Jacobs University Bremen. Other research topics in the group are dynamical processes like aging and synchronization phenomena, interacting oscillatory systems, and the impact of stochastic fluctuations on dynamical systems, currently with a focus on power grids. Jacobs University provides a stimulating research environment with interdisciplinary research and an international student body with students from more than hundred nations. The campus language is English. 

Requirements: Candidates should already have a master or diploma degree, primary background in theoretical physics and applied mathematics, very good programming skills in C, FORTRAN or PYTHON, strong interest and some expertise also in analytical calculations. Additional background from life sciences is very welcome.
